Michael Piper

I thought I should add this portrait as it is quite a recent one, especially with Remembrance  Sunday coming up.  The elderly gentleman with the glass eye was a very interesting character to paint. He was blown up in the war 1944 as a civilian as a child. Here he is seated in his house, in his grandfather's chair, a true English gentleman.
